The Roles of Coordination Committee Include:
Promotes and propagates WEA policies ,activities and ideology among members and people to realize Association’s objectives,policies and programs.
Recruits members ,ambassadors ,Maendeleo Groups and volunteers .
Represents views and interests of members ,Maendeleo Groups and people to the Central Executive Committee .
Ensures discipline and adherence to Association policies and programmes among members and Maendeleo Groups
Investigates any allegations of misconduct of any member or Maendeleo Group and makes recommenadations to the Central Executive Committee.
Formulates policy for consideration by the Central Executive Committee.
Supervises the conduct of the Association activities.
Advises the WEA General Chairperson.
Ensures that all organs of WEA function properly and implements the policies of WEA.
Prescribes and recommends rules and regulations for the functioning and operation of special organs and caucuses.
Ensures proper security of Association property and its members are the custodians of Association property in their areas of governance.

4. One Continental Chairperson for each continent North America,Europe,Asia and Africa (excluding Kenya)
5. One County Chairperson for each county of Trans Nzoia, Bungoma, Vihiga,Kakamega and Busia
6. One Regional Chairperson for each region of Central, Coast,Eastern,Nairobi,North Eatern,Nyanza,Rift Valley and Western.
7. National Students Chairperson

a. Continental Coordination Committee (CCO)
Established in each continent of North America, Europe, Asia and Africa (excluding Kenya)
Chaired by a Continental Chairperson
Composed of Continental Chairperson and country coordinators of each country of the continent
It performs the roles of CCE in its continent
b. Country Coordination Committee (CCC)
Established in each country of each country of North America,Asia,Europe and Africa (excluding Kenya)
Chaired by the Country Coordinators
Composed of a Country Chairperson and four individuals from the country
Performs the roles of CCO in its country

c. County Coordination Committee (CCOE)
Established in each county of Trans Nzoia, Bungoma, Vihiga,Kakamega and Busia
Chaired by a County Chairperson
Composed County Chairperson and Ward Coordinators in each ward of the county

d.Ward Coordination Committee (WCC)
Established in each ward of Trans Nzoia, Bungoma, Vihiga, Kakamega and Busia Counties
Chaired by the Ward Coordinator
Composed of the Ward Coordinator and one village coordinator in each village of the ward
Performs the roles of CCOE in the Ward

e.Village Coordination Committee (VCC)
Established in each village of Trans Nzoia, Bungoma, Vihiga, Kakamega and Busia Counties
Chaired by the Village Coordinator
Composed of the Village Coordinator and four individuals from the Village
Performs the roles of WCC in the village

f. Regional Coordination Committee (RCC)
Established in each region of Central,Coast,Eastern,Nairobi,North Eastern,Nyanza and Rift Valley
Chaired by a Regional Chairperson
Composed of the Regional Chairperson and County Representatives in each county of the regions except the Nairobi Regional Coordination Committee which is made up of Sub County Representatives in each constituency of Nairobi region
It performs the roles of CCE in its region
The County representatives and constituency representatives performs the roles RCC in their counties and constituencies respectively.
g. County Representation Committee (CRC)
Established in each region of Central,Coast,Eastern,North Eastern,Nyanza and Rift Valley
Chaired by the County Representative
Composed of the County Representative and four members in individuals in the county
Performs the roles of RCC in the County

h. Sub County Representation Committee (CRCO)
Established in each Sub County of Nairobi region
Chaired by the Sub County Representative
Composed of the Sub County Representative and four members in the Sub county
Performs the roles of RCC in the sub county

i. Institutional Coordination Committee (ICC)
Chaired by the National Students Chairperson
Composed of the National Students Chairperson and Students Regional Coordinators in each region of Central,Coast,Eastern,Nairobi,North Eastern,Nyanza,Rift Valley and Western
It performs the roles of CCE among students in education institutions in Kenya
The Students Regional Coordinator chairs the Students Regional Committee(SRC) composed of the Students Regional Coordinator and one Students Representative in each University, college, Technical and Vocational Education and Training Institution (TVET) and priority school in that region.The Students Representative chairs the Institutional Representation Committee (IRC) composed of four members in the Institution .IRC reports to SRC while SRC reports to ICC. The SRC for the Western region is also made up of one student representative in each high and primary school in the region.
A Maendelea Group is made up of ten members who are close to each other, understand each other,share same Vlues and can implement the WEA policies together .They meet every week to discuss socio-economic development ,invest together ,advise each other ,discuss about WEA issues and propagate and promote the WEA policies,objectives and programmes.
A Maendeleo Group is chaired a Maendeleo Chairperson who reports weekly to any of the below stated

• Country Representative
• Constituency Representative
• Institutional Representative
